Instructions and Rules

Okay, so this is how Basilisk's Glare works:

So people sign up, and those who are signed up by the Deadline, will be included in the game.
And I will pick the first murderer, as I am the admin, and that is my job, and in the games ensuing, the murderer will pick the next murderer and so on.
Okay, game politics out of the way, onto the games content.

So I have picked the murderer, let's call him X. So X is SECRETLY the murderer. No-one knows who he is. Only I. So X kills me first.
I go to the Graveyard (a thread we create) and I give the description of my death. I will plan it out so you can all follow with the same sort of thing as mine.
So in my death, I will write it as a story, and I will explain my death (try not to get too, too gruesome). And I will give clues as to who the murderer is, for the detective.
So I also select the detective (Let's call her Y). So Y get's only three guesses to guess who X is, or X wins.
So there is no limit to the amount of people X can kill (well, techniqually there is, X being limited to only kill the people who volunteer to play). But X may kill as many as he likes (but he usually likes to drag it out, leaving at least a few hours between each kill). And he usually waits until the person he has killed had written their final words in the graveyard. If they don't within 24hours, then he will kill another.
Now X cannot kill the detective.
And X has a very distinctive form of murder, a wink . If you get a wink, you are dead. And must write your final words.

Now, the politics of the final words. Remember, clues need to be subtle.
You can't say, and I was killed by Elle, or the Head of the Wizengamot, or anything like that.
You need to know clues about the murderer.
Like one clue might give a clue to my avatar. Such as, and she cackled like a madwoman out of Azkaban as her knife drew my lifeblood.

See, its actually quite easy, and deliciously fun.

not yet. I think we're waiting on two things atm:

1) Elle to get on
and 2) more people to sign up on the new site here

Maybe, maybe. We'll have to wait 'till one of us dies, or Elle/Marius comes on.

I think we should stop this now. We might get yelled at for posting stuff that has nothing to do with the topic.

Well anyway, if registration had reopened, I'd join. Again.

NOTE: Be careful when writing your death's not to allude to the sex of the murderer. I forgot to put that in the rules.
I had to go over and check my death multiple times.

I already know who the murderer is, and I'm not even the detective lol. Nice death scene though, Elle!
