Okay, you know those little books at the side of the index page that shows you if there's been a new post in there? Yes?

Anyway, sometimes I come on here, and the little books are blank, which means there are no new posts. Except, when I go into the thread, there are new posts. It's very confusing and annoying.

Can you tell me why?

I have no idea but it happens to me too. I just check everywhere I normally would if there were new posts (unless in the spot on the other side it says I was the last poster)
