Names!

Cho Chang...I've never liked that name either. She could've been more creative. There are plenty of Chinese/Korean names but she went with the least creative. =.=...

Luna married Rolf Scamander, grandson of Newt Scamander (I went to the Lexicon especially for you Screamer =P...).

Sirius's brother was Regulus. Didn't quite like it either.

Regulus is okay. Sounds a bit like regular.

I hate the names they give the house elves. I mean, Kreatcher? Dobby? WINKY?!?! Ye Gods!

Dobby was ok in my opinion, especially compared with Winky and Kreacher. The worst out of the three, IMO was Winky. =.=...Did she wink too much or something?

She should've been called Drunkie or something...with her obsession over Butterbeer. =.=...

Did anyone else laugh hysterially when they realized Neville's last name is the same as the name for the tabaco or whatever in LOTR? Longbottom leaf? XD

You know Draco was the name of a Greek man who made a code of laws for Athens around 623 BCE... (I can't remember the precise date). It was the first step in their democracy. *geek* Yeahh. I learned that a month ago in World History. Yay, AP.

As for the rest; I love Lily. I don't know why, but I love it. Astoria is awesome, too. Sinistra has an air of mystery and intrigue, which I love. Dumbledore and Dobby are goofy, which is awesome! And I really can't think at the moment, so I'll leave it at that.

Sibyl Trelawney's grandmother (?) was named Cassandra - same as a girl from Greek myth. The one Apollo gifted with 'the sight'.

I don't know the story behind Luna Lovegood's father's name, but it's pretty wierd. How do you pronounce it?

I always pitied Neville for his name. I'd never heard of Neville until I read the books, and Longbottom... If I had the last name Longbottom, I'd shoot myself. I would get SO TEASED.

Draco is one hot name. I like Lucius, too. Winky... winked. I guess that's the whole story.

When I move out of home, I'm going to legally change my last name to Snape. When/If I get married, I'll insist on keeping my maiden name (which will be Snape) and I'll most likely call my first son Severus.

Although, I might absolutely hate HP in a few years. You can never tell.

I don't know if anyone has said anything, but I just cannot get over Albus Severus... That is just asking for atomic wedgies. Poor kid. I know Harry named him that because he looked up to those men, but still.

Oh we've been bashing Harry and Ginny's heads over naming their kid Albus Severus since the beginning. It's just a horrible deed on their part.

As for Dumbledore, I think I like Lild's version of his name better. Captain Beesting XD.

I like Snape but I loathe Pomona, it doesn't even sound like a name to me!, and xenophilius sounds like xenophobic (which I think is being afriad of people from toehr cultures) but it always makes me think of pedophilic (sp?) so I never really liked it. I like Luna though (and it's suits her, kind of surreal and ... floaty). (Also if MM, the new MM not the old MM who's new name is Blood *sigh*, HI!!! MISS YOU!!! HOPE YOU HAD FUN TODAY AT CHURCH WITHOUT ME!!)
