Names!

Who is Pomona anyway? Isn't is Sprout's first name?

Well, it didn't really bother me as much as Sprout's did :shrugs:. I think out of the professors (except the DADA since it keeps changing), my fave would be Minerva and Severus.

Ahgreed... though I like Flitwick too (just not his first name), in my head he's not creepy(ish) like he is in the movie, he's like all.... cute! And he teaches charms, I think I'd like charms.

LOL...They've made him overly goblin like (and the person who played Flitwick was also the guy who played the goblins by the way).

For some reason, Sybill reminds me of "syllables". =.=...

I dunno Sybil makes me think of that women with multiple personality disorder, there was a book and a movie about her (I'm not sure if she was fictional or not)...

Yeah. And they've changed the spelling of her name Merlin knows how many times that I don't know what's the correct spelling nay longer.

I think Severus is the best first name. Albus? Hell no. Pomona? Gargh! Fillius? Alright.

As I've said before, Minerva and Severus are my favorite. Albus is ok as long as it's Dumbles name (NOT when it's a kid's name). Filius is ok. Pomona, urgh. Sybill, ok. Charity's (Burbage, the Muggle Studies professor name) a nice name. Cuthbert (Binns), how do you pronounce it, first of all? Aurora's (Sinistra) is also a nice name. Septima, not really fond of it.

Rubeus...I think I like his last name better than his first name in this case. =.=...

Septima alwasy reminds me of septic. >< Which reminds me of 'septic tank' and I'm left wondering who'd want to name their child after a tank of crap?

Yeah, I like Luna's name. Although her father's name was a bit weird.

On the other hand, Grindelwald itself is alright but Gillert doesn't sound...Dark wizardish to me. (:says to self: No wonder Voldemort changed his name =.=...)

I know what you mean. Gillert sounds, for whatever reason, like it should be followed by 'Eat all your vegetables, or you won't get any dessert!'

Yes! Grindelwald really should've taken a leaf out of Voldemort's book. Keeping his name when he was supposedly the second evilest wizard in history *shakes head*. Gillert! Stop cursing the kids!

Well, it makes me think of 'Dilbert' like the cartoon, and makes me think he should be in an office with a pointy-haired woman wearing an odd tie, holding a cup of coffee, and talking to a dog.
