It's really me! Again.

I've just read everyone's welcome posts and thought I should reintroduce myself.

I'm Ginny, I'm 80 years old, use a walker to get around most of the time but I still have all my own teeth. I just love those Harry Potter books and I occasionally write post-DH fan fiction, set at St. Atenolol's Home for Aged Wizards.

Okay, I'm exaggerating a little, but I do feel very old compared to the rest of the members. I've been married for 18 years, longer than some of you have been alive. I have one son, who is six.

I write occasionally, share my stories sporadically and am much more active in the fandom as a beta reader. I work as a medical editor, which is almost like being paid to beta read very technical H/C fiction all day, so it's perfect for me.

I use reallyginny as my user name across all the many HP forums and sites where I'm a member. I chose it because my given name is "Ginny;" it's not a shortened form of anything. People inevitably, upon learning my name, ask what my "real" name is and I always have to say, "My name is really Ginny." So I'm reallyginny. Nice to meet you.

Personally, I like 'Death on a Pale Horse' and this one painting by.....Van Gogh....it's all black except for the face. I'm pretty sure its an angel or something....really pretty. I saw it for real at the Louvre when I went. ^^

Lol. I don't know why, but I always wanted to meet someone that has the same name as a character in a book. (Popular names do not count.) I like your avater, it's like visiting an art show.
